What is a Chapbook? A small book containing poems, ballads, stories. Once sold by peddlers known as a petty chapman.
A peddler, under English law, defined as: “any hawker, pedlar, petty chapman, tinker, caster of metals, mender of chairs, or other person - so why are they not called Tinkerbooks? One day, perhaps, this will be my imprint? With a horse on the logo, or perhaps another 'beast' - maybe a burro like the one I befriended years ago, his name Einstein. He would bear the weight and draw the load, We'd travel and trade on foot and go town to town or online and open internationally to sell the goods; but I'd call them greats.
